The acquisition of this unit in 2001 consolidated Group Farias position in Goiás state. This unit was deactivated and in the record period of 3 crops it already processes close to 1 million tons of sugar cane.

Its location in adequate region to the culture of sugar cane propitiates the complete use of mechanized activity, allowing that 100% of its harvest is made with automotive harvesters.

The expansion of the culture is firm, with the adhesion of independent producers, compelling Group Farias to forecast this unit to process 3 million tons of sugar cane until 2010.
