Group Farias´ and Northeastern Brazil´s largest industrial unit of alcohol installed, Vale Verde Rio Grande do Norte has a capacity to produce 120 million liters of alcohol per crop, and makes use of 23,000 hectares of agriculturable land.

With the objective of extending the opportunities and increasing market share, in 2003, the necessary equipment was installed for manufacturing and wrapping of crystal sugar brand ECOÇÚCAR, in 1 or 2 Kg packages

The strategical positioning of the unit propitiates alcohol exports through Port of Cabedelo, in Paraíba state, and of sugar through Port of Natal, in Rio Grande do Norte state..

Its strategical planning, allied to flexibility in the production of alcohol and/or sugar, makes possible a better follow up of the market oscillations, optimizing the meeting of demands.
